The Rose that Grew from Concrete

Ladies Night at Stonecreek Church! We look into the story of Ruth and Naomi and discuss the power of Ruth’s Statement, “Your God will be my God and your people will be my people,” Both Ruth and Naomi were surrounded by rocks and hard places; but, just like a rose, when you are surrounded by hard places the only places to go it up.

I used to think God and I had nothing in common.

Starting at a very young age, in my mind, He was a “theobro” who bonded with other men over swords, girded lions, and how many mighty men of valor they could collect in their camps.

Now
Night night
When does she pray?

At the break of day.
The dawn of every new season.
At beginning of a new career.
At the birth of a new baby.
At at the rise of a new year.
At the start of a new dream.

And He responds with, “I will help you.”
